It depends on the person and the situation. You've probably noticed there's not exactly a rule book here.

When it comes to this, I'm free from any particular preference.

It's just like any other way of meeting people. Sooner or later you figure out if you actually like 'em or not, however you met.

Beats having to save the world with someone you can't cooperate with, I'll bet.

[Fire-forged bonds can count for a lot, but they can't bridge everything.]

It does make saving the world more difficult, though not entirely unmanageable. More irritating later, certainly.
