I am aware of breasts, yes. Have been for many a year, as it happens.

[He laughs.] I imagine there's stuff you find pretty great when looking at a guy. First principles, you know.

I do... though i have to say I'm not so enthusiastic about what I like as some people who are into them.

[That 'you' isn't just about Ethan. Well, the 'repressed' part is about him, but it's not as if Fitz spent a lot of time talking about breasts when he was Ethan's age - thinking about them, yeah, all the time, but not talking.]

I guess. But with the way people used to go on and on on about 'tits' in the barracks, Its different.

I dont think people talked about that sort of stuff when I was in school... maybe that isn't universal.

Don't worry, I didn't either. I just know because I was hiding to avoid getting kicked again. Tommy set fire to my schoolbag, but Mary and me made out in the back of the movies for a month, so I definitely lucked out.

Right little berk. [His agreement is somewhat dispassionate. Fitz held onto a bitter grudge against the life he'd led, but he'd never held truly longstanding anger against individuals. For better or worse, he's always been angry that there are people who do such things, but it's more general bitterness than something personal.]

Luckily, my teachers hated me anyway so it wasn't like failing to hand homework changed that.
